Geylang East Swimming Complex

The swimming pool in Geylang East is located in a secluded place in Macpherson District, although it is easily accessible. The HDB flats surrounding the pool feature convenient utilities and are only a few minutes’ walk from a supermarket.

Sports Singapore has managed this pool since 1978. It first opened on August 1, 1978.

As you walk to the parking lot and enter the property, there is a high wall surrounding this swimming pool that is coated in yellow and blue walls.

Walls are typically painted in bright colors to protect individuals from the noon heat and to make the neighborhood appear sunnier, enticing people to swim in the community.

It would be best if you visited the complex in the afternoon. On weekdays, you’ll notice that most of the folks that utilize this pool are older and more elderly.

You can observe the clarity and depth of the pool at any time of day or night as long as you look. The swimming pool at Geylang East is clean and well-maintained.

The complex has a modest parking area that can accommodate up to 20 cars. However, this zone does not permit lorries and buses weighing more than 1800kg unloaded.

It is located at 601 Aljunied Crescent and is open 24/7. It is, however, closed on the first day of the Chinese New Year.

Additional Convenience

The Macpherson and Paya Lebar MRT lines are about 1 kilometer away from this swimming complex.

There are a lot of services and retailers here, so there will be a shop and save around 1 km from the swimming pool in the city square.

There are many places to eat in Katong, but Tanjong Katong complex and Katong retail center are the best.

You can swim whenever you wish, even on a public holiday. So, you can swim in this pool all year!
