Jurong West Swimming Complex
Jurong West Swimming Complex also known as the Jurong West Aquatic Centre. It is one of the pools great for water play areas. This pool features many interactive water fun such as the huge water play area which comes complete with two slides, water fountains filled with lots of jet water streams.
Kids will definitely go entertained with this kind of water structures, just make sure they do not get too caught up by all the fun pools in the swimming complex and set some time limit on their water fun activities.
The Swimming Complex is not exactly located in the most accessible location. However, it is found right at the end of Western Singapore which kind of aid west people with an easy location for swimming and training.
The swimming pools are housed on the second level of the Jurong West Sports and Recreation Centre Building. This is one great place for the west folks to go for a daily swim, swimming lessons and recreational activities.
Being the third stop integrated centre, it was the third pool in Singapore to have a lot of differentiated facilities built into such as the lazy river, jet water streams, water fountains, Jacuzzi, kiddy fun station and fun slides to the masses at an affordable rate.
More than just a recreational or swim training public pool
It is also built strategically with many nearby things you can do after swimming lessons or recreational swims. For those driving and looking to go straight down to Malaysia, this will be the best choice as it is located near the Tuas checkpoint and near the second last MRT stop on the East West Line.
More than just being the one stop to go for all aquatic events. Jurong West Sports Centre also offers a range of good food and beverage outlets with lots of sheltered parking lots.
For swimmers or training for swimming competitions, this western swimming complex itself houses a sheltered Olympic-sized competition pool for you to train whole day long rain or shine.
After some tiring swim and looking for some natural massage, there is a Jacuzzi pool in the complex itself and you can use the whole day long till the complex closes.
