Woodlands Swimming Complex
The Woodlands Swimming Complex, a public swimming facility, is managed by Sport Singapore.
The well-maintained and upgraded facilities at Woodlands Sports Centre, formerly known as Woodlands Sport and Recreation Centre, serve the neighborhood. It is situated on a large estate. It has a sizable following in the community and might use the regional hub in The Woodlands to give a different market for future growth.
To expand its market niche, Woodlands Sports Centre has introduced Aqua Aerobics to its Swimming Complex and will keep growing the programming options at its facilities.
In 1989, The Woodlands Swimming Complex let visitors inside. Since then, it has been changed numerous times. As a result, it offers a variety of contemporary facilities in contemporary styles.
Because so many food and retail options are close by, the pool is also fairly convenient. The closest are Wood Grove, Woodland North Plaza, and Causeway Point. The Woodland Swimming Complex has an eight-lane competitive pool. On weekday and weekend evenings, the swimming facility covers a portion of the competition pool with railroad ropes. The rail ropes act as barriers between lap swimmers and recreational swimmers.
When the pool is cleaned every Thursday, chlorine powder is used to treat the water, which is typically clean and warm.
Tall, lush trees and buildings surround the pools at both ends. By doing this, the pool won’t receive too much sunlight. Particularly suitable for those who enjoy swimming in the midday sun but are wary of UV exposure.
Greenery and tall trees catch our gaze when we’re relaxing or sunbathing by the pool. “Green” helps to relieve swimming-related eye strain and tension.
If you want to get a tan, foldable seats are in each corner of the pool. The sun sits directly overhead of the competitive pool and shines brightest between 1 and 3 p.m.
