Kids Swimming Lessons Singapore

Our in-house kids swimming lessons are available throughout the weekdays and weekends.

Our kids’ swimming lessons are conducted by qualified coaches who adhere to the national swimsafer curriculum and awards.

Students are divided into groups based on their learning abilities.

New students, for example, who sign up, will be placed in our beginners’ class.

Children learn at different rates, so we’ll work with you to identify their best learning style.

Our swimming sessions are conducted every week at all public and private swimming pools in Singapore. If you prefer to take swimming lessons in another public pool or at your own house, there are no additional fees.

We design our children’s swimming sessions to encourage each student to realize their best potential.

Children learn a variety of abilities and methods in our swimming lessons that other programs do not, such as dolphin kicks, breaststrokes, and flip turns. We also teach children how to swim and be safe in the water.

Friendly Dolphin Swim School follows Swim safer programs. On the other hand, students who perform well on tests will receive certificates from the school.

They will be performed in public pools and evaluated by Sports Singapore assessors.

Our swim class is appropriate for your child’s goals, regardless of what they are:

pursuing swim team correcting strokes and swim instructing lifeguarding in the future swim coaching in the future swim safer certifications

When your kid satisfies the requirements for the Swimsafer Syllabus 2022 and awards, our coaches will ensure that he or she can take the test.

Students will learn crucial skills, such as how to be safe and save a life, that they will be able to utilize for the rest of their lives. We are pleased to report that from 2015 to 2021, more than 97 percent of pupils who took the Swimsafer examinations passed.

Friendly Dolphin private and public swimming instructors will provide a test at the start of instruction to see how well the students can swim in the first few classes.

Students will receive a report card to keep track of their development and to encourage them to continue swimming.

Students will acquire the following skills during this swimming class:

  • How to stroll, jump, and run around in the pool to become acquainted with the water.

Life skills are essential for everyone.

Spending time and money on vital topics is the best way to have a brighter future and be happier.

People can use this expertise for the rest of their lives.

Investing in both intellectual and physical knowledge education is an excellent method to plan for your children’s future.

Whether it costs a lot of time, effort, money, or a combination of all three, the value of the knowledge and skills you gain will compensate.

Swimming classes for children and learning to swim are valuable skills that will always be in demand. This is a significant investment that will benefit your children in the long run.

People who took swimming lessons can recoup more than just the money they paid.

Private swimming lessons will help children learn and enhance their skills. They will be reimbursed for what they paid for them.

Improve Your Academic Performance

Learning to swim helps children do better in school. Children who participated in organized sports and exercised frequently were more than twice as likely to achieve higher grades than they should have.

Learning to swim can help pupils gain confidence and self-esteem as they learn about sports.

There is no need for parents to be in the pool with the child. You can observe the class near the pool.

We propose holding the class separately because they are in distinct categories. We will offer back-to-back lessons for your children. We will use a separate curriculum for toddler and kid swimming lessons.

This is not recommended. Because our children’s program is designed for children aged 4+ and older, your youngster may struggle to keep up. It might be counter-productive. We shall, however, review the decision on a case-by-case basis to see if the youngster is appropriate for the class.

You need to have your own swim gear, goggles and float board for the first lesson. Your swimming instructor may advise you further after the first lesson.

Our instructors conducting kids classes are fully qualified with the relevant certifications from the Singapore Sports Council and Singapore Swimming Teachers’ Association. They are trained and experienced in conducting swimming lessons for kids.

You are welcome to register a package that offers a minimum of 4 lessons. You may refer to the kids swimming lessons fee page for more information. We are sorry that we do not offer single trial class at the moment.

We highly recommend a doctor’s opinion to be sought first as there are varying degrees of Asthma.

This course is suitable for anyone who is interested in upgrading a lifesaving skill for themselves in swimming. I strongly encouraged that all people must at least have some survival skills in the water.

Parents have a significant influence on their children’s swimming experiences. So while children work hard to learn to swim, parents should know how to assist them.

  • Do not anticipate your youngster to be able to swim immediately after being introduced to water. The individual’s learning ability determines it. As a parent, you should keep the long-term aim in mind and avoid putting too much pressure on accomplishment and expecting immediate results, as this can be counter-productive.
  • Don’t get too excited over your child’s improvement. Allow them to grow and improve at their own pace. There is no quick fix for learning to swim. Perfect practice makes perfect. Every child requires consistent instruction and training, so don’t rush them! Short and frequent regular visits will teach your child far more than the odd long ones.
  • Don’t quit if your toddler no longer likes the water! Instead, continue your regular lessons, but don’t throw away all your previous hard work. Rather than missing lessons, it is better to just hang out and observe what the others are doing.
  • Don’t make comparisons between your child and others. Everyone has a unique learning style.
  • Don’t panic if your child accidentally falls into the water and consumes water during the session; this is part of the learning process. Thank them for attempting. Children should be encouraged. Children will enjoy and have fun as a result of this.
  • If your child sobs during the lesson, this does not indicate that they are not ready for swimming lessons. Your youngster could be adjusting to the separation from Mum and Dad, adjusting to their new surroundings, or simply having a bad day. Give your child some space and time to grow in confidence. They will soon be able to share this fantastic experience with us in a completely calm setting.
