Trial lessons are only available for individual classes. No trial lessons for group classes, students will at least have to commit for 4 lessons.
For lessons conducted midway and started raining or lightning risk, lesson will continue and be done on land drill or Q&A session in a sheltered safe area.
Once lesson commence it will be considered as one lesson done even if customers do not wish to continue with land drill or Q&A session.
Prior notice of 1 hour/60 minutes in advance notice will have to be made known to the coach if suspected of raining or lightning risks, classes will be given a replacement notification ONLY in this scenario.
We have always make it a fair agreement for the school, instructors as well as our students.
No replacement given for any reasons except for bad weather, pool closure or the whole group decide to cancel the classes together.
Replacement can be arranged based on instructor availability within a given deadline.
If classes cannot be arranged before the deadline, classes will be forfeited and charges apply.
You need to prepare swimming goggles and swimming suit for the first lesson. If deem necessary the instructor will get you to bring other swimming gear if needed.
Children can start learning at any age, babies between six and sixteen weeks and above will be a good and ideal time to start. The fear and objections to swimming is usually due to the not so familiar sensations which came about later.
Some parents will prefer to wait till their babies are done with immunization jabs and considered to be protected from polio. Do consult your doctor if needed before attempting any swimming lessons.
It might be better to have the babies start swimming as soon as possible, never feel pressure to go for swimming lessons. It can actually be done in the bathtub at home with some familiarization exercises.
We have always make it a fair for everyone - for the school, instructors and the students.
For classes cancelled by the swimming coach/swimming instructor - penalty will go to the coaches or swim school with no charges incurred and schedules will be re-arranged
Only for classes cancelled by the students do arrange for a replacement before the deadline as instructors had reserved the time slot for the students. Do check with the coach for availability of his time slots.

Please consult a doctor before the swimming lessons. Do make sure the doctor have given an approval letter before starting the swim. Based on severity of the asthma, our instructors will also need to be informed prior the beginning of the lessons.
All our swimming instructors are certified under NROC, SSTA, AUSTSWIM. Before they became swimming coaches, most of them are actually lifeguards that are professionally trained to take care of safety. For our baby and toddler swimming programs, swimming coaches are all certified and valid under AUSTSWIM infant and pre-school aquatics program
Replacement classes entitled should not clash with normal lesson and should be done on another day or timing.
That depends if your classes are group or private 1-1 classes. For group classes there will be no make-up classes. Private class students, you have to inform your swimming instructors at least ONE day before the classes commences. For more information do refer to our terms and conditions.
Our swim coaches are experienced and have trained more than 4000 students thus far from public swimming pools to condominiums and private pools in Singapore. We are sure given the appropriate amount of time to practice and professional guidance. Our students are guaranteed to reach swimming proficiency and received recognized certifications.
Babies swim classes or swimming lessons are usually shorter because of babies concentration are usually shorter. 30 minutes are usually the good time for them to concentrate and better engage with the instructions of the swimming instructors. Any timings longer than that might be counter-productive.
Due to swimming and education syllabus. We do not encourage to mix students with different swimming proficiency and abilities together. Be assured friendly dolphin swim school will make the best arrangement
The best time to eat before classes will be an hour. This will give the student ample time for digestion and ready for the swimming lessons!
Our swim classes are conducted island-wide by our friendly and professionally-trained swimming instructors.
Our classes are catered to as young as 4 months old babies, Friendly Dolphin Swim School believes strongly about building the foundation of swimming basics and water familiarization early. How good you swim in the future depends on how far you have envisioned and how you took the steps by steps to achieve your swimming goals.
Definitely no, picking up swimming is never too late. It can be learned at all ages and our experienced coaches had taught elderly who have experienced years of water phobia into proficiency! Investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.
