Swimsafer silver will focus on fundamental of diving skills and introduction will be done at this stage. Development of rescue skills and personal survival knowledge will also continue at more advanced levels. Students will have to demonstrate competency and should be able to perform efficient stroke techniques to complete stage 5.

1.Dive Entry (Crouching)
1.Backward somersault in the water.
2.Scull, float or tread for while putting on a PFD in the water ( incorporating in survival and activity skills)
1.In at least 1.4 meter deep water, perform a feet first surface dive, swim through all the hoops on the pool bottom for 3 meters.
Swim:
1.50 meters front crawl (within 1:30 minutes)
2.50 meters breaststroke (within 1:50 minutes)
3.50 meters backstroke (within 1:40 minutes)
4.25 meters survival backstroke
4.25 meters side stroke
4.Dolphin kick 10 meters on front
Dressed in swimwear, shorts and t-shirt demonstrate:
1. Enter deep water using a straddle jump
2. Perform a backward somersault
3. Submerge using feet first surface dive.
4. Swim through hoops on pool bottom for 3 meters and resurface.
5. Swim through hoops on pool bottom for 3 meters and resurface.
5. Swim through hoops on pool bottom for 3 meters and resurface.
5. Swim 45 meters quickly using front float
6. Wave and call for help (rescuer to throw the PFD)
7. Retrieve a PFD in water and fit it while treading water
8. Demonstrating Heat Escape Lessening Posture (H.E.L.P) technique for at least 30 seconds
9. Then swim 25 meter with PFD and climb out of the water.
